Carawatha Chai - Champagne mink Self Silk - DOB Sep '08
Chai was bred by Carawatha Rodents in Brisbane. She is a beautiful champagne self with a silk coat that looks and feels like velvet. She is a very affectionate for a doe, and really enjoys having one on one cuddle time. She is always at the front of the girlie group begging for a scritch. Now she is getting older she is very much the laprat and loves hanging out on the couch in the evenings. Unfortunately, although we now have suitable bucks to breed her to, she is too old for a first litter. However, we welcome Carawatha Tai, who is a relation to Chai and will continue her line.
Carawatha Tai - Black hooded headspotted Silk - DOB Dec '09
Tai was bred by Carawatha Rodents in Brisbane. Her mother is a beautiful black eyed white, who was bred at Sunshine Rattery in 2008, and therefore she carries the BEW gene. She is related to our precious Chai, and we are very much looking forward to breeding with her in the future.
Coco - Cinnamon berkshire silk - DOB February '09
Coco is a very sweet little girl, who is on a long term breeding loan from a lovely lady in Brisbane. She has a sleek and slender body shape with a beautiful silk coat. Coco has already raised one litter, and did so well that we plan to breed her once more before her retirement.
Ruby - Fawn silk patchwork rex self - DOB February '09
Ruby is a silk patchwork rex. She constantly moults out patches of her fur and grows it back again, which results in some very funky hair styles! She has a 'Little Miss Bossy' attitude with other rats and is the alpha girl. She loves to power groom to show her dominance. She is exceptionally acrobatic, to the point of being lemming-like! She has already successfully raised one litter, which was born in Jan '10.
SUN Autumn - Cinnamon berkshire single rex - DOB May '09
Autumn is daughter to the beautiful TRP Possum, and is an absolute sweetheart of a girl. She reminds me so much of her Mum that she is often called Possum by accident. She recently raised her first litter of twelve ratlets, and due to the success of her litter and her continued good health, she will be bred once more this year, before retiring.
SUN August - Blue agouti single rex self - DOB December '09
August is a stunning blue agouti rex self. Her coat isn't a great example of a rex, but the extra length and gentle waves show off her beautiful blue ticking. She has been named August after her mummy Autumn, as they are so similar in both looks and personality. We plan to breed with August, to continue the blue line.
RAS Otter - Mink irish double rex silk - DOB Jan '10
Otter is daughter to the lovely Ruby, who went on breeding loan to Little Rascal's Rattery. Her Daddy is a healthy, well mannered and very squishy double rex silvered black self. Otter is a stunning girl to look at. Her wavy fur glistens in the light and her little white Irish marking is adorable. She is a very outgoing little girl, with a big personality.
RTS Lucy - Black capped blazed - DOB Feb '10
Lucy is Great Niece to our much loved blazed brothers, Hector and Hyde. She is a tiny slip of a girl at the moment, but has a huge personality to make up for what she lacks in size. She is quick as lightning and is keeping all the older girls well and truly on their toes! We look forward to breeding with Lucy later in the year.
SUN Emily - Dove self silk - DOB Mar '10
Emily is an absolutely gorgeous dove self silk. Her coat is absolutely amazing, I have to say that her colour/coat combination is one of my favourites. She has a bubbly personality, always up the front ahead of her sisters. She is daughter to Coco and Sully and is therefore a blue carrier. She will help us continue our blue line when she is mature. Her litter will produce ruby eyed blue silks, we are very much looking forward to that litter!
SUN Lottie - Mink champagne self silk - DOB Mar '10
Lottie is a stunning mink champagne self silk. As she is a silk her coat shines like a mirror and feels so unbelievably soft. She is daughter to Coco and Sully, and will help us continue our blue line when she is old enough. Her litter will include pink eyed blue silks, which is very exciting for us! She is an affectionate little girl, and best friends with Millie.
SUN Millie - Argente berkshire - DOB Mar '10
Millie is another daughter to Sully and Coco. She is a standard coat argente, and has a beautiful orangey hue. Millie is a blue carrier, and will continue our blue line when she is old enough to breed. She is best friends with Lottie, they are almost constantly glued to each other!
