SUN Dexter - Silverfawn berkshire - DOB June '08
Dexter is a wonderful companion and is incredibly affectionate and loving. He bruxes and boggles and even wags his tail in delight when he is scritched. At eight months of age he started getting too boisterous with his cage mates, and at twelve months he was neutered which resolved the issue. His cage mates now enjoy a laid back Dexter. He was not bred from prior to being neutered, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise as he has developed ongoing respiratory problems as he aged.
SUN Baxter - Mink Hooded - DOB June '08
Baxter is from the same litter as Dexter and has the same loving personality. He is a laid back boy who doesn't do anything unless he deems it absolutely necessary! Like Dexter, he has developed ongoing respiratory problems as he has aged. Luckily he has not been bred from and due to his late onset health problems, there are no plans to breed from him.
SUN Hector - Agouti wedge blazed mismarked bareback - DOB September '08
Hector is an intensely affectionate rat, who craves human attention. At the age of eight months he became increasingly dominant with his cages mates and was neutered at ten months of age. He is just as affectionate with the younger members of the boys group as he is with humans, and is often seen gently grooming or cuddled up sleeping with the youngsters and joining in with the frivolities as they bounce around having fun. Hector was not bred prior to being neutered.
SUN Hyde - Agouti blazed mismarked bareback - DOB September '08
Hyde has a stunning mismarked blaze that covers half his face. Thankfully he does not have the split personality to match and is the most licky, affectionate boy ever to grace the face of the earth! He is brother to Hector, and although there were plans to breed with him he has proved to be infertile.
RTS Bug - Black wedge blazed variegated berkshire - DOB November '09
Bug was bred by a Brisbane breeder, who owns a sister to Hyde and Hector. Normally we do not seek out rats from other sources as we breed our own litters to continue our lines, but as Hyde could not breed due to being infertile, we welcomed their Nephew into our rattery with open arms. It is good to know that Hyde and Hector's line will now be continued on through this stunning boy. He is a playful anf very affectionate companion, and a joy to own!
RTS Grub - Agouti blazed variegated berkshire rex - DOB November '09
Grub is brother to Bug. He was very nervous when he first arrived, and after three weeks with no change there were concerns that he would not settle down. One morning he woke up on the good side of the bed and since that day, quite inexplicably, he has been extremely friendly, playful and exceptionally affectionate. In fact he even pushes the other young boys out of the way to get fusses! He has a very squishy body that hangs like a ragdoll when he is picked up.
SUN Winston - Blue berkshire - DOB Dec '09
Winston is a beautiful blue berkshire from our 2009 Autumn x Amore litter. He is one of three boys that we kept to continue the blue line. He is a very friendly confident young ratlet, who loves human attention and does everything he can to attract it! Wilbur is his favourite hang-out pal. They are inseperable.
SUN Wilfred - Blue cinnamon hooded single rex - DOB Dec '09
Wilfred is a blue cinnamon hooded rex. His wavy coat shows off the ticking in his fur beautifully. He has a much more laid back personality and is usually the one getting jumped on by the other rats during play rather than the one doing the jumping. He loves a good snuggle and will make a great laprat when he matures. He has a squishy body type with a very handsome face.
SUN Wilbur - Blue mink self - DOB Dec '09
Wilbur is a blue mink self. His colour is more blue-grey compared to standard blue, and he had a gorgeous mink cap when he was shedding his baby coat. He is exceptionally playful and friendly and is partner in crime to Winston. He has the most adorable crooked ear, where his mummy overgroomed him at two days old. He has a lovely face shape and a very solid muscular body.
SUN Sully - Blue Argente berkshire - DOB Dec '09
Sully is an absolutely adorable little boy with a shining personality. He, along with Winston and Grub, jump out of the hammock and plasters himself to the mesh as soon as he hears a human voice. I was quite disappointed when we seemingly didn't get any ruby eyed blues in his litter. We thought Sully was going to turn into an argente, but when he moulted into his adult coat it became clear that he was completely the wrong colour for argente! This is because he is blue based, which has diluted the normally very orange coat to a much paler yellow.
SUN Henry - Silverfawn self silk - DOB Mar '10
Henry is a beautiful silverfawn self silk. The silk coat looks so fantastic on the paler colours. He is a dear little boy, who has integrated into the young buck group very well. Affectionate and adorable, and good friends with Bug since his brothers went to their new homes. He is son to Coco and Sully, and is therefore a blue carrier. When he is mature, he will help produce pink eyed blue silks and ruby eyed blue silks, which is very exciting for us!
