Baytril™ An antibiotic commonly used to treat Myco symptoms. Prescription from a vet required.Bleeding Issues Australian blue rats have in the past had problems where their blood does not clot, similar to Hemophilia in humans.Boggles/Boggling This occurs sometimes when a rat bruxes. A muscle that is required to brux loops through the eye socket, and can cause the eyes to 'pop' slightly out of the head.
Bruxes/Bruxing When a rat grinds his teeth, it is called bruxing. Your rat will brux mainly when he is happy, but may also brux when he is distressed or in pain much in the same way as a cat purrs.
